Happy Easter to you and your family! 

We hope that this Easter is spent relaxing with those who mean most to you. This time of year is a wonderful one, but also one that is filled with overindulgence and chocolate! We would like to remind everybody that a number of ingredients in your easter goodies are Toxic to dogs and highly dangerous, some of these ingredients include: 

Chocolate, raisins, sultanas, currants, and grapes.

While we encourage sharing, please don’t give any of these items to your furry friends, instead you can give them healthy treats, such as chicken, duck, or goose feet, hairy rabbit ears, pigs ears or even cows ears. If you think your dog has ingested any of the ingredients we have mentioned and show signs of vomiting, diarrhoea, hyperactivity or restlessness, tremors, seizures, or fits, please get them to a vet immediately and try to keep the packaging of the item consumed.

On a slightly cheerier note, we’ve been working super hard to get more of the stuff you love in stock, we asked on our Facebook page what kind of items you’d like to see us get in and we listened. We are now proud stockists of Naked Dog Raw Food, Aniforte Supplements, Beco Dog and Cat Toys, and RiaflexSupplements. We love getting new items in like these and can’t wait to share them with you, so come and check them out in store or online.

We still don’t have any information regarding Nurture Them Naturally’s return, so unfortunately the last few items we have will be all we carry until they are back in business. We are currently recommending alternatives such as Naked Dog or Prodog Raw, but we are more than happy to discuss other options that suit your needs in store.

Our website has had a little bit of an update, we have some new pictures of our gorgeous little store, and we have our new items page, where you can view all of the new products we have in stock in the past month. We’re working hard to make sure that our stock quantities are reflected accurately, however we are having a few issues with that at the moment, so if you place an order and an item isn’t available, we will be in touch to let you know and offer alternative products for you.

Once again, we’re asking that if anybody has any of our bags to spare, if they could please bring them back to the shop, we can then recycle them and get a second, or even third life out of them. Now that we are storing orders in the walk-in, we’ve noticed that the bags aren’t as fragile as they once were, and are less prone to snapping at the handle. Hopefully the days of broken bags are one of the past, so please, if you could bring bags back to be reused, we would value it. And we offer a recycling scheme for Nutriment Black Tubs, so if you wash and clean them, we have a drop off polybox  in the shop, or hand it to the delivery person, or leave it out for collection when your delivery is due.  And we take them back to Nutriment.
