It’s been a little while since we’ve done a newsletter as we have been so busy. A lot of people have asked if business is going well and if we have plans of shutting down, we want to put a stop to this rumour/misconception and assure you that we aren’t going anywhere! In fact, this past year has been our most successful year yet, smashing sales way out of the park compared to our previous years. We have also had a record amount of new products added to our collection this year too, from new raw food, to toys and supplements. None of this would be possible without our amazing, loyal customers, so for that we thank you endlessly.
In fact, we have done so well that we have even decided that it’s about high time that we give the shop some well-deserved love. So, over the Easter weekend when the shop is closed for the bank holidays, we will be having a little decorating session! All of our amazing staff members will be coming together and pitching in to get the shop looking fresh and colourful for your return after Easter Monday. We are looking to get some gorgeous fans built in to get the shop cooler for the summer months, and we are also having a think about replacing the flooring. We’ve come a long way in the 4 years that we’ve been in Crowthorne, and an even longer way since those old garage days! We can’t wait to share our future with you and to bring you the amazing services we have to offer.
In other news, we’ve noticed you’re all big fans of Naked Dog! We had a large delivery come into the shop and Meg spent ages packing it all away nicely but within a few days it was pretty much all gone! We love that your dogs are enjoying their food so much and we were shocked that we sold out of the brand new kangaroo flavour in just two days. We are in the process of ordering some more, but we have also just put in our massive Prime Raw order, so the shop is about to get very busy!
We have been informed that Cotswold are going to start a reward scheme similar to how the Naked Dog one works. We haven’t received much information on this, so keep your eyes out on our social media pages for updates.
You may have noticed a new face in the shop on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This is Kai! Kai joined the team formally in March and is our new Saturday shop assistant. We are very happy to say that he earned this position through his hard work and dedication during his work placement with us. Kai is still learning about raw feeding, so if you have any questions that he is unable to answer, please feel free to drop us a message on facebook or instagram, or you can call or email us. Also, if you have any young adults who are looking for work placement through their school/college, please ask their establishment to reach out to us and we may be able to get something sorted for them.
The ever-elusive Dirk has also been spotted in the wild! Dirk has very kindly been popping in and out of the shop doing various jobs for us, including getting us set up with a brand-new state of the art point of sale system. In true Raw4pets fashion we have had some teething problems, but once we get over these little speed bumps we are hoping that we will be able to provide our customers with a smoother, seamless shopping experience where you don’t have to wait for Meg and the gang to scan each individual item and clear the search bar every single time! We’re hoping to get this system in place within the next few days, so please be aware that service could be a little slower while we adjust to the new changes.
We love getting feedback from our customers, so please feel free to leave us a google or facebook review, as we rely on these to get new customers on board their raw feeding journey. We always ask that if you have any bags to spare please could you return them, as we do recycle them and give them another life. We also offer a recycling scheme for the black nutriment tubs. Please make sure that they have been washed and cleaned before you return them. You can put them in the polybox in the front window for us to take back to the factory.

We’re working hard to make sure that our stock quantities are reflected accurately, as mentioned above, if you place an order and the item isn’t available, we’ll be in touch to let you know and offer alternatives.
