This year is absolutely flying by, it feels like just yesterday we were writing our January newsletter to welcome in the new year. It’s been a very exciting few months for us here at Raw4pets, we have a new Henley Raw freezer, and the front of the shop has had a massive redesign. Meg, Dirk and our new delivery and muscle man Shaun worked through the sweltering heat moving the freezers around and fixing up a wall display of treats, so without them this wouldn’t have been possible.

We also have a brand-new mini freezer from Nature’s Menu to store the fan-favourite nuggets in, so you won’t have to dig around to find the flavour you’re looking for anymore! It is directly in front of the door, so you can’t miss it!

We are also looking into getting a couple of our freezers re-wrapped, this will hopefully make it much easier for you to find the products you’re looking for. We try our best to keep things as organised and clearly displayed as possible, and having freezers wrapped by brands that we no longer sell is not the best way to do this. 

We are now stocking food/water bowls too. The bowls currently come in two colours and two sizes, grey in large and mint in small. They are made from bamboo, so you don’t need to worry about your dogs spooking themselves with their own reflection, or the risk of the bowls smashing. There are a few more colours available through our supplier so if you are interested, please ask Meg or Marcelle for assistance and they will be more than happy to try and sort something for you.

You may have noticed that we are a little short on some items, this is because we have just completed our big annual stock count. This is where all of the Raw4pets team come in and count every single item for sale in the shop. We have well over 500 different items for sale, so it is a big day that we all often dread! We managed it though and now our stock numbers should be completely up to date and accurate. We have had some issues with our website reflecting the true amount of stock that we have, this is down to some technical hitches somewhere down the line, but if you put an order in and we don’t have what you need we will always contact you to offer an alternative. If there is something you want that is listed as out of stock, you can always select the Notify me when in stock option to receive an email as soon as it gets to our shop door. 

On our website you can check out our newly added products page, this will list everything that is new from the last month. We’re working hard to make sure that our stock quantities are reflected accurately, but we are having a few issues with that right now, so if you place an order and the item isn’t available, we’ll be in touch to let you know and offer alternatives. We also have our sales link, where you can find all of the products that are currently on sale.

Once again, we’re asking that if anybody has any of our bags to spare, if they could please bring them back to the shop, we can then recycle them and get a second, or even third life out of them. Now that we are storing orders in the walk-in, we’ve noticed that the bags aren’t as fragile as they once were and are less prone to snapping at the handle. Hopefully the days of broken bags are one of the past, so please, if you could bring bags back to be reused, we would value it. And we offer a recycling scheme for Nutriment Black Tubs, so if you wash and clean them, we have a drop off polybox in the shop, or hand it to the delivery person, or leave it out for collection when your delivery is due so we can take them back to Nutriment.
